I see quite a few people getting junipers wiring and twisting them to make this style bonsai. Curious if it would work with an Eastern Red Cedar if you get them small enough. They grow fast bud back nicely and take all kinds of abuse! I have them everywhere around where I live from 2 inches up to 20 feet tall.
What are your thoughts? Are the trunks going to be too stiff?
