The problem with winter damage is you mostly won't know until spring if stuff gets really hit. I doubt you had any issues if temps didn't get below 28 or 27. Big pots with lots of soil in them don't freeze all the way through in such shallow, short-term freezes.

Same thing.

Believe it or not...January is basically Spring here already. We might get a couple of dips like this until mid-February but most plants have sprouted by then. Not much else I can do. Note that these local trees have gone through this "weird" cycle longer than I lived here (though not in pots) so I hope they will be fine.

I also hope it was understood that the ones I am protecting outside are actually local plants (but newly collected). (again, the trops are inside the garage).
