Where to buy Ginkgo?

My largest trunk ginkgo was a near 20 foot tall seedling. I have a bit of a big scar to deal with by carving or whatever, but I did get a nice 4 inch diameter trunk. I counted 35 rings, so it was probably that old when dug. Came to me nearly rootless stump. This photo was 2014, it is now in an Anderson flat, it was not doing enough vegetatively in this pond basket in 2014.

So ground growing, or a large container growing is the way to size them up.

I just rescued two ginkgos from a languishing forest planting and put them in a grow bag.
Hopefully they’ll pull through and I’ll be able to do a styling in 20 years as well 😉

I think when I get to PA, I will spend $500 and buy a big Ginkgo then chop it. Time is not on my side :)
