My largest trunk ginkgo was a near 20 foot tall seedling. I have a bit of a big scar to deal with by carving or whatever, but I did get a nice 4 inch diameter trunk. I counted 35 rings, so it was probably that old when dug. Came to me nearly rootless stump. This photo was 2014, it is now in an Anderson flat, it was not doing enough vegetatively in this pond basket in 2014.
