They’re HRE R101s. Love that blue! Rebuilding my 964 and nearly went with a similar color but decided to stay with a Porsche color.

Defoliated and more wiring on my tiger bark ficus, the left side of the tree died over the winter so growing it back out.

Any suggestions on where to find decent field grown or pre-bonsai tridents in the central valley? I’ve searched far and wide, maybe not far enough. Prefer to train field grown trees over a few years in nursery pots. I just enjoy the process of developing maples.Picked up this giant trident maple. Ready for spring in giant Yoshimura crackle glaze cream colored pot. Trunk is seven inches across out of the soil and has almost 9 inch spread. About 20 inches tall. Tree should canopy out at about 26 inches tall.
