Last few trees that got pruned. 2/3 of them were also affected by chlorosis this last spring but has rebounded. The first tree has been the strongest and wasn’t affected at all. In fact, it has the tightest and most dense/compact foliage among all of the RMJs in the collection. It is probably my favorite RMJ foliage that I’ve seen thus far.

You know your automobiles! Yea it’s a wraith. Going in a couple of weeks for some mods since it’s disgustingly stock 😂

They’re HRE R101s. Love that blue! Rebuilding my 964 and nearly went with a similar color but decided to stay with a Porsche color.

Defoliated and more wiring on my tiger bark ficus, the left side of the tree died over the winter so growing it back out.
I know that background.. I just can't afford the trees you list .. I mean I can but I like to develop my own stuff for now.. nice tree as usual tho..

I always let my pots dry feet down so I can Make sure the feet are even.. you probably already know that little hack Judging from how nice you're pots look.
Thank you. I did flip it over and let them settle down and touch the "ground". It is till feet down.

Man!

I love your space!

...looks different than the neighborhoods in Chillicothe and Cincinnati I stayed in.

;)
We have our share of losers too. I have a couple good neighbors who care. House is 110yrs old and we've lived here for 40 of them.
Azalea took a beating today

Picked up this giant trident maple. Ready for spring in giant Yoshimura crackle glaze cream colored pot. Trunk is seven inches across out of the soil and has almost 9 inch spread. About 20 inches tall. Tree should canopy out at about 26 inches tall.
Any suggestions on where to find decent field grown or pre-bonsai tridents in the central valley? I’ve searched far and wide, maybe not far enough. Prefer to train field grown trees over a few years in nursery pots. I just enjoy the process of developing maples.

Have you tried Round Valley Nursery ( https://www.facebook.com/people/Round-Valley-Nursery/100063653344561/ ) ? I've not been there yet but I'm told they have a lot of ground grown material. But they are a good bit south of you - down near Visalia.
