Welcome visitors to the garden

Gather ye honey when the temps get down into the thirties...
 
It should be an assembly of parts screwed together. If you can't put it back together, buy a new light and put the nest materials into a different container somewhere else where you can steal their honey every autumn. 😈

It's actually an antique from the hayday at Gas Light Square in St.Louis. We called a local bee society to see if they would come and get them but they said they couldn't move an established hive. I don't like honey, or any sweets actually, so no great loss. I don't mow the grass, so they don't bother me.;)
 
I was finally able to catch a pic of dad at the bird bath.

The babies have fledged, my wife and I got see two leave the nest yesterday. There was one in the nest early this morning and fledged while I was on my walk. Mom and Dad are still coming to the feeder and taking it to the babies up in the trees.
