It's kind of a strange circumstance. We lost a daughter named Kelsey, our new niece is named Chelsey and is just a couple years older than our daughter. Weird things going on in the universe.Very cool! What a blessing!

Wow Carol. I'm really sorry to hear that. I never had any kids but lost a couple brothers and witnessed just how hard it was on my parents. It's too much to bear. It's kind of a strange circumstance. That's terrible, I'm so sorry.I never had any kids but lost a couple brothers
That is my thought as well. I've seen hundreds of them and it looks right.I'm guessing sycamore. They get everywhere and root in almost nothing.
Looks like a selection for sure, definitely be able to do something interesting with them, and they should be popping out anytime soon. Keep us updated! my bets are willow birch and sycamore.Hey neebs thanks for dropping in. Plan at the moment is to let them grow a bit and positive ID.

I visited Scotland about 30 years ago. Had no trouble understanding people except for the Glaswegians. At Glasgow airport security guy was asking questions about my luggage (did I pack it, has anyone else had access to it, etc). I had to ask the poor guy to repeat everything a time or two. Couldn't make out what the heck he was saying.Love your accent but we don' all talk like Mel Gibson in Braveheart . I'm near Glasgow and it's more like Hooyoulookinet yabampot.
Definitely willow in that mix..
I agree with @Gabler about viburnum...
Some are looking Prunus, too... but would that make sense?
I'd bet those Prunus-looking ones ARE Viburnum,
I ALWAYS forget to ID by bud orientation!Looking at the pictures on a computer screen rather than a phone, they appear to halve alternate leaves, so never mind.
That coloration around the edges is definitely what made me think viburnum.
