I bought a set of six carbon steel Wazakura tools, and I got them this week. Wow! I love them. Also, they are so sharp that I sliced up my finger. Be careful with them! I am very happy with the quality so far.

I have both sizes of the satsuki-type scissors, and absolutely love them. I put the ashinaga scissors on my list, and my in-laws got me a pair of wazakura scissors. Unfortunately, they got me a duplicate of one I already have, so I have to deal with the whole return thing. It’s hard to explain how superior these scissors are until you actually use them.

The knob cutters I got had an improper hardening and temper and lost huge chunks out of the blade in the first 3 cuts. They replaced them no problem. As long as you have your order info you should be good to go.

Thanks for that info. I got a concave cutter from them that seems like the blades don't meet up. They tend to overlap and get hard to open again on what I consider normal cutting with them.
