This is an idea of why our infrastructure is rated so poorly.

3rd world country type shit....

Especially here in Illinois!

Greed!

Greed and stupidity!

If one wished to create a Utopian society...
All they must do is the Opposite of what the U.S. does!

Easy peasy!

.....

I like the pump idea.....

But electricity, even in small amounts....
Is something my personal utopia can not use of avoidable.

I'm on a well, so I use the garden hose and the Masakuni spray nozzle.
Do you ever get issues with rust from your well? We just installed a filtration system to deal with iron in the well water for my auto watering system that I use when I can't hand water.

Thnx
I will bring it with me when i come visit !

Yeah cool! Almost any weekend day is okay, but not the 15th and the 22nd.
The 22nd there's a bonsai workshop in Oosterwolde, Friesland. I can app you details if you like.
Have you figured out a price for the wand yet?
And let me know your free days!

Edit: it's more a coming together at the place of someone more experienced who guides us in stuff and such than a workshop.

Folks,

I wanted to say a - BIG THANK YOU ----------- I showed this discussion to K and it made up his mind.
Down to 50 / 60 trees for next year and no more saving the cuttings.

As a small island 50 x 30 miles and a population of 3 million plus [ though the Gvt, has taken to lying to us - they say 1,5 million [ 1980's figure ]
and too many malls / shopping centres selling imports only - our rainfall though plentiful ends up in the drains.
Hence dry season by April, becomes very harsh. Back on the 3 days of water 10 p.m to 5 a.m [ due to 2 more 'mauls' - not needed across the
highway, one a stones throw.]

So much for the 24 hrs a day supply - ha ha ha.

Anyhow, the rainfall here in Sando, is over 5 feet yearly and the roofs are large, yard has space --------> tanks - a friend used to have a 50,,000 US gallon.

The idea of using hoses etc. down here is what cheapens the idea of Bonsai ------------- they don't hang in museums and are not culturally
valuable, and are treated as things old folk do and waste water especially if a hose is used.
We can be charged 200 $ US plus for using a hose during the dry season, so it's a no no.

Anyhow. it's tanks for us and as we age, from 1.5 gallon watering cans to 1 gallon watering cans.

Once again Mucho Thanks.
Good Day
Anthony

Back yard, never mind the Poui flowers, that was a green lawn
