@JudyB , that Satsuki is pretty cold hardy and has seen single digits on the ground without issue. It’s my heaviest and most unwieldy bonsai and if it can stay on the bench, it will. I did jam a heating pad underneath the pot for some piece of mind... dew point of 1 f means it could get a lot colder then the 15 f predicted. The RMJs have their bathing suits on and are enjoying the coolish weather.

Single digit brutal weather has set in for atleast the next week, its so cold my chickens eggs are freezing n cracking before i can collect them, pray my trees pull thru

You should be O.K.
One thing I would consider if you live in a rural area is vole protection.
I’m in the city, so I’m not so concerned about voles. If it gets chewed on this winter, it will likely be the neighborhood rabbit that is to blame.

been between 9 and 18 or so the last few days and we are getting some snow looks like this evening/night.....

Though it probably won't snow or if it does it'll be like 1 micron :p:p

There is already a weather advisory here.............:confused::confused:

-15 With windchill...and my second love...my jeep. Decides to only blow heat when moving. Sitting at the bus stop I tried to rationalize with my son...it was better than being in the elements. This heat thing is new with my jeep. Time...to look for another vehicle I am tired of pumping $$$ into it. My cheeks are frozen...

Trees are happy sitting at 33F with secondary heat running...

Life is too short to have to deal with frozen cheeks...

9 f this am with several days to come staying below freezing... looks like I’ll be moving the azalea after all.

Mine went into the attic, shed is to cold for extended periods. In the attic they see 30 - 40F on the coldest days and get a much colder night, sometimes they partially freeze. Seems to work though.

That would be great...our mechanic is 3 miles from the house. Will have him take a look at it. It would be great if that was all that was wrong. Today was NOT the day to have no heat in the jeep. Brrrr thanks for the heads up to check.
