The azalea is sold! Thank you to the kind gentleman from Md!
Which Facebook groups are you guys always talking about? I've only found 1 and no one is ever selling anything..The pun is strong with this one!
That is just how people work it seems... Makes me wonder sometimes... Is the attitude a side effect or a cause of/ contributing factor to the persons financial situation? Hmmm After over a decade of retail banking I cannot answer that question but frequently I have found through customer interaction with people from all walks of life: positivity, confidence, understanding, compassion... Lead to/ are common traits found in those who have had success in life. Negativity, bigotry, stubbornness, self centered... "ness" (?)- well... They are usually personality traits of the "less fortunate"... Nature or nurture?
Y'all didn't know we was gonna get deep in here did ya?
Maybe I have been lucky or just so excited that people want to buy my stuff it is hard to knock the "happy" off me regardless of how the transaction goes! I think any time money goes into my hand it tends to sweeten my view of how the transaction went! LOL
I have primarily sold through FB groups and the rules there are that the seller is responsible for damages, so I just take that line with every transaction regardless of source. I think it has made me become progressively more cautious with how I ship them. Now I fully wrap the pots in plastic wrap with wet newspaper under it to retain moisture and keep the dirt in the pot no matter how it is tossed and turned. I frequently wire them into the boxes... I have used everything from styro pnuts to crumpled newspaper to inflated bags as stuffing... BTW, where do you get your packing pnuts Don? I cannot find them for a reasonable price anywhere and am relegated to recycling those that came to me in items I bought!

Still wont know until Sunday... but, I'd be interested in seeing more shohin sized satsukis. Especially if they are uncommon ones.

Bonsai Auctions
Those are the two busiest...
Bonsai Classifieds is kind of active too
Always are... Did you see the ones last week!?!? I found it to be a source where you can get one of a kind stuff frequently though I do not generally drop that kind of coin on pots, but I sure like to look! Some nice pots on Bonsai Auctions up now.
True. I don't see you there. Must be using a pseudonym. I use it mostly to sell but sometimes it's "gotta have."Always are... Did you see the ones last week!?!?
I mostly sell on $.99 "erickellygroupmorgan" I think is my name on FB... Some sort of combination of my wife's name and mine... FB apparently had issues with your last name being "Group" because they don't allow businesses under personal profiles. Jerks! I have family members who actually had to send them copies of an ID just to get their real names on FB. I am NOT doing all that...True. I don't see you there. Must be using a pseudonym. Hey @johng - I'm checking with Kevin ''Beer City Snake'' to see if anyone is heading to Asheville show. If he is I'm considering.
About slow responses, I seldom get lower on the list than the Pine sub forum, If the tree selling forum was just above the ''Tea House'' it would possibly have become more active than ''99 cent Bonsai Auctions'' on FB.
I'll let you know if I come up with a scheme to get your trees here.I've driven to Charlotte NC a couple times, maybe an 16 to 20 hour drive oneway, (I stop often to prevent getting hypnotized by the road) but I have friends to stop and visit along the way, which makes for a pleasant 2 day drive. I'm kicking around the idea.
