Too Many Trees = an opportunity for you!

I don't see any problem with the prices, it's just too dang far to drive.
You pic me up on the way and I'll split the wheel with you and pay for fuel.

Did this one happened to be on YouTube?

Several trees from this group were in videos. Without going back and watching I don't know if this specific trees was or not...but it is very likely!

The azalea is sold! Thank you to the kind gentleman from Md!

The pun is strong with this one!

That is just how people work it seems... Makes me wonder sometimes... Is the attitude a side effect or a cause of/ contributing factor to the persons financial situation? Hmmm After over a decade of retail banking I cannot answer that question but frequently I have found through customer interaction with people from all walks of life: positivity, confidence, understanding, compassion... Lead to/ are common traits found in those who have had success in life. Negativity, bigotry, stubbornness, self centered... "ness" (?)- well... They are usually personality traits of the "less fortunate"... Nature or nurture?
Y'all didn't know we was gonna get deep in here did ya?

Maybe I have been lucky or just so excited that people want to buy my stuff it is hard to knock the "happy" off me regardless of how the transaction goes! I think any time money goes into my hand it tends to sweeten my view of how the transaction went! LOL

I have primarily sold through FB groups and the rules there are that the seller is responsible for damages, so I just take that line with every transaction regardless of source. I think it has made me become progressively more cautious with how I ship them. Now I fully wrap the pots in plastic wrap with wet newspaper under it to retain moisture and keep the dirt in the pot no matter how it is tossed and turned. I frequently wire them into the boxes... I have used everything from styro pnuts to crumpled newspaper to inflated bags as stuffing... BTW, where do you get your packing pnuts Don? I cannot find them for a reasonable price anywhere and am relegated to recycling those that came to me in items I bought!
Which Facebook groups are you guys always talking about? I've only found 1 and no one is ever selling anything..

$.99 Bonsai
Bonsai Auctions
Those are the two busiest...
Bonsai Classifieds is kind of active too

Hey Folks! Asheville is less than 2 weeks away now! This is still a great opportunity to add a decent tree or two to your collection.

Currently, all trees are available except for the Chinzan Azalea. There are a couple folks toying with the BC but no commitments as of yet!!

Still wont know until Sunday... but, I'd be interested in seeing more shohin sized satsukis. Especially if they are uncommon ones.

Man I wish ...and I live in Asheville. I'm sooooo broke right now. Doing a remodel to the kitchen

At this point, the trees posted are the only ones for sale. The only azalea is sold.

Well since John said he has no Shohin azaleas... I do. Shoot me a PM if you want me to give you some idea of what I have.

Some nice pots on Bonsai Auctions up now.
Always are... Did you see the ones last week!?!? I found it to be a source where you can get one of a kind stuff frequently though I do not generally drop that kind of coin on pots, but I sure like to look! ;)
Imports, local artists, antique stuff, collectibles... All ranges of size and quality available weekly on those sites. Has turned me into a real collector and I never was that into pots until about a year ago!

True. I don't see you there. Must be using a pseudonym. I use it mostly to sell but sometimes it's "gotta have."
I mostly sell on $.99 "erickellygroupmorgan" I think is my name on FB... Some sort of combination of my wife's name and mine... FB apparently had issues with your last name being "Group" because they don't allow businesses under personal profiles. Jerks! I have family members who actually had to send them copies of an ID just to get their real names on FB. I am NOT doing all that...

Hey @johng - I'm checking with Kevin ''Beer City Snake'' to see if anyone is heading to Asheville show. If he is I'm considering.

About slow responses, I seldom get lower on the list than the Pine sub forum, If the tree selling forum was just above the ''Tea House'' it would possibly have become more active than ''99 cent Bonsai Auctions'' on FB.

I'll let you know if I come up with a scheme to get your trees here.I've driven to Charlotte NC a couple times, maybe an 16 to 20 hour drive oneway, (I stop often to prevent getting hypnotized by the road) but I have friends to stop and visit along the way, which makes for a pleasant 2 day drive. I'm kicking around the idea.

Hey Leo! it would be great if you could make the Expo! Kevin contacted me about a month ago to say he would not be making it this year.

Hey JohnG!

See you in about a week! I'll be at Asheville on Friday setting up, then return Sunday to bring them home. Can't be there Saturday.

As always, we're having difficulty getting participation in the Atlanta Club. Not sure why. We have guys with good trees... they just don't like to show.
