I will do do. It is an amazing piece and could very well be the only bonsai pot he made. I have emailed him numerous times and never had a reply, but he is still active in pottery.I know you love this pot, but...BUT if you ever decide to sell it, pleeeeeeeease contact me. The more I look at it, the more I love it.
I would do a little Korean hornbeam forest or fill it with those anise candies that grandmas always had. LolI recently made this pot.
Don't know why, just thought it is a good shape.
For what I don't know.

Haven't seen them in a while.
Thanks so much! Great description! Fabulous picture! I really tried to capture it and came nowhere close.Looooooove the variation in the glaze of this pot - greens to purple to slate colored metallic portions. Really outstanding texture to the glaze that gives the pot visual interest, especially in direct sunlight. Happy this one landed in my collection!View attachment 165895

Nice photos!@Stickroot, I've been documenting my pottery collection and sharing a few photos on Reddit. I managed some decent shots of two of your pots I thought I would share. The metallic glaze is ultra-difficult to photograph - especially in full sunlight. I hope you're still plugging away and will have more metallic glazed (and other) pots to share soon!

Well, I haven't done any pottery since that last pot I sent you.
I think I'm done, quiting and selling my studio to start raising lizards.
I'm just kidding. I will be firing again soon, maybe with my new burner. They better be some awesome lizards if you're giving up pottery!
