Thoughts on this Pot

I know you love this pot, but...BUT if you ever decide to sell it, pleeeeeeeease contact me. The more I look at it, the more I love it.
I will do do. It is an amazing piece and could very well be the only bonsai pot he made. I have emailed him numerous times and never had a reply, but he is still active in pottery.
It took me about 3 seconds to commit to buying it at first sight. I really can't believe the owner sold it. I think he thought the price was unreal and I would bail.

Looooooove the variation in the glaze of this pot - greens to purple to slate colored metallic portions. Really outstanding texture to the glaze that gives the pot visual interest, especially in direct sunlight. Happy this one landed in my collection!View attachment 165895

Thanks so much! Great description! Fabulous picture! I really tried to capture it and came nowhere close.

@Stickroot, I've been documenting my pottery collection and sharing a few photos on Reddit. I managed some decent shots of two of your pots I thought I would share. The metallic glaze is ultra-difficult to photograph - especially in full sunlight. I hope you're still plugging away and will have more metallic glazed (and other) pots to share soon!

Nice photos!
Well, I haven't done any pottery since that last pot I sent you.
I think I'm done, quiting and selling my studio to start raising lizards.

Get it on Stick!
Soon! Club Fitness on K will be finished in late December and I'm taking a few weeks off to focus on some SERIOUS pottery before I start another job.
