Just a tad!
This one will get gas fired, total reduction. So honestly I have no idea what it will end up at, we shall see.

Where you @ ma nigga?
What's your status on project mud slinger?
Initial precision is key dawg!
You reach 2350 yet???

Why is making pots a lot like welding?

Same same.

Let the inspector come x-ray my shit!

I got a few built. Still trying to locate free Electrical
Supplies before I go buying anything to get the kiln hot.
And an exhaust hood.

Do you know, while looking for exhaust info, I ran across an article with the comment....
"Good to know, can't believe I never thought of how harmful not having my kiln vented could be."
Lol!

Slippery!

I'm researching hooking a vacuum pump into my peepholes for a semi reduction....
You know...
Can't go being same same!

Though I have been wearing socks and sandals while working, as to channel that Japanese dude from youtube.
No thong sandals though...dunno how he does it!

I only got 2 glazes so far, but I went and found galleries with them....and they are dope as shit!

I been thru about 10 lbs of this 50, and I love it, obedient as hell.
I'm trying to have all 100 lbs built before I fire anything.
Run a test.

One thing is CERTAIN.
I'll never be bored again!

If it ain't been raining the last few days, I'd have some dead trees....
But Mother Earth got my back as I mold (fuck molds!)her into vessels for herself.

I've contemplated skipping fishing for the hour before baseball games in exchange for a nap, so I can stay up later!

FUCK MY DAY JOB!

I agree. Fusion of materials.

Yes! Dangerous fumes! Everything that burned has fumes and at these high temps you have a cocktail of everything, not to mention ash.
Sucking Peep holes I'm not sure what it would accomplish, but it's worth a shot. Reduction is an odd and mysterious character.
When I'm on clay binges and up all night I end up taking a lot of knapsack in the truck on the job sites, so yeah it "fucks my day job"
Still fun!

Well here is my "disaster"! First time throwing 10 lbs of Aardvark.
I have around 5 hours in two nights into this pot. At almost 11" tall with a 7" rim. I finished the initial throwing last night and paddled it to shape tonight. The rim and lip I cut free-hand and textured the spirals as well.
I love these Hurricane style pots!
This clay comes out similar to porcelain
And will be the perfect canvis for a colorful glaze.
Might be a keeper:)
