I have a few shohin that are in the works, but this one is the closest to being “finished.” Boxwood ‘Compacta’ in a commercial Chinese pot with an autumn accent.

Here is a shohin Black Pine. Pot broke last year so it's in a terracotta for now and looking for a replacement pot.

Awesome trees y'all! First (shohin) tree actually potted in something nice, most of mine are still in plastic or cheap ceramics.

Fagus sylvatica, Danish yamadori. A friend gave it to me on the Trophy XX edition this Feb. I potted it into this Oyama pot not 15 minutes ago.

The last gasp...the branching leaves a lot to be desired. I should cut it way back and begin again. 4 3/4 " high.

I was playing around with displaying trees with instruments and this is my shohin Mugo Pine in front of a Bodhran, a traditional Irish drum.

Love the drum as a background. It seems to work even with the painting on the head.
