The kiln gods have been kind...for the most part.

That first one in the light blue has a great looking glaze, and that center decoration is a cool and interesting detail. Nice work.
 
Here’s some highlights from the most recent firing. Been experimenting with agate ware, which is decoration from combining different colored clays in s single slab. The first cascade pot is my favorite agate ware piece so far. It is a technique that you don’t see very often. 10”

The mushroom basket design is inlayed into the wall of the pot. 16.5”

Impressed seals for a more rugged deciduous tree. 15” ish.

A rugged brutalist style cascade, pentagonal. 10” or so.

This is my first suiban. It has a gorgeous purple blue glaze inside and a rustic red iron wash on the outside. Wet clay = 19” Dry =18.25” Bisque =18” Final firing =17.5”. Whew, just under the kiln shelf 18” size limit.
