Fried food feast here tonight. Shrimp, onion rings and zucchini. I also made a really healthy chicken and vegetable soup with tumeric to start out the New Year on a healthy note.

Reminds me of a recipe for mock lobster casserole...can of cream of shrimp soup with a little sherry and lemon juice over cod/halibut topped with sautéed onions and breadcrumbs w/Worcestershire sauce...baked up it tastes just like lobster.

Worst cut of meat we've had in quite a long time and we got 2 for almost $90. Good track record, bad timing. Hope the one in the freezer is better.

There is a strip of meat (tenderloin) on a chicken breast typically used to make chicken strips. I just cut up the chicken breast into pieces for these.

Under my supervision “Mom-made” Chicken Enchiladas/tostadas/taquitos.. (the delineation smeared due to placement and inclusion of meats,sauces, and cheeses )

Finally found a butcher that does proper English cuts of meat so next week should have a nice brisket, pork butt and big T-Bone coming.
Looking forward to trying that out.
