Planted this depot boxwood in 100% NAPA back in March.... I'm new, so I'm not sure if this kinda root growt is typical or not, but it makes a believer of me with the NAPA, thanks @sorce ...... nevertheless, its in the pile! #MovingOn

@Johnathan ,

do you think you stunned it by bare rooting ?
Good Day
Anthony

Not at all bro, I purchased this tree back in March when I started the hobby, and I've already out grown it. Especially when I realized that the trees I have would eventually have to be winterized.

At the time I didn't really know what I liked, and just got it to have something as I assume most newbies do and will do.

By offering this thread to post pics and videos of you burning that crappy tree.

Going a bit overboard there.

also, I'm at least giving my tea tree a chance, after 4 months of work, NEVER BURNING IT.

I liked this tree a bald cypress with 3.5” base starting to buttress noticeably. But every single year it’s covered in spider mites. I’ve tried every trick in the book while I grew this thing from a stick. Nothing will stop them. Can’t sell a sick tree for any decent amount. Thought about planting it near a creek but it’s infested so that seemed irresponsible. I’m trying to go completely organic again and this thing is killing my groove. No bald cypress for me I guess. Everyone I’ve seen near me is bronzed out by summer, I quit. Maybe dawn redwood next time

Everybody has killed, will kill or is now killing trees mostly because of something they did, will do or are now doing. The important thing is to determine what we did wrong or we will do it again with the same result.
Luckily, as its all nature, its easy to figure out what we are doing wrong and QUICKLY and EASILY correct it.
Right?

Right, guys? Anyone?
