I was thinking in lifting it up a bit and using two pads

ideas??

Max,

my question would be, is this tree healthy?

Normally olives on our side throw out long extensions continuously during their growing period.

yes, I shortened a lot of the branches.
It has been doing fine.

I've long liked this image of Carl Morrow's olive in South Africa. Yours is quite similar.

Max the best place to go with that is to your post office and send it to me !

That's a beauty and can only get better.

hahaha I never thought to have trees people would use that joke on

I actually just found JudyB drastic olive chopping thread! I might have to look at this tree more... and get the guts to do what is necessary

Max, do make sure to look around at pictures of real olive trees as you decide. Also take a look at Harry Harringtons olive trees, he's got some nice examples of what can be done. I like this tree a lot. The lower section is the focal point for me, with the big sweep from the lower trunk up the deadwood. Not sure you need the upper trunk, but that would be a big decision.

W o w.

Can't believe I missed this one!

I love it with two trunks.

That foilage virtual could stay above that interest in the big trunk.

Couple nice canopies, lil carvin', .....

Man, sweet tree Barros!

Max,
Sorry, now that I'm over that.....

I would push both virts outward, keep them 2 separate entities.
I think the deadwood in between is enough to force the gaze up and back.
I also think the deadwood in between shows the forces that keep branches from growing to close to there.

This is a nice material.
After 4 years! This is long!
Is this your preferred front? Or the one with the deadwood/shari?
@barrosinc could you please post a picture of the tree taken from the same side as your first one and put them side by side in thumbnail format so we could better see the difference?
Thank you.
