So anyone concerned with the lack of winter this year?

Gonna be 24 degrees tonight. No bueno for these eager beavers.

I’m leaving mine outside. It was just as cold last night, and my Japanese maples seem to be fine. If it turns out they can’t handle the cold, then I’m not interested in keeping them as bonsai.

Cautiously optimistic that the bonsai shuffle will be over in the next few weeks here.

Now no one complain about rain, it's like the opposite keeps on happening anytime someone does. Bnut controls weather.

This is one of the coldest winters I can remember. We have had more rain than the last 4 years. My tropicals were in the garage and shed for 18 days. Our highs barely get up to 65 degrees. Five times we have had frost. I do like the rain, though.

A lot more snow here than I'm used to. Hopefully this will help with the droughts our reapective states often experience? Fingers crossed!

First sign of leaves (noga crabapple). And the bloodgood is pushing hard and bleeding from all pores. Other than some shuffling, the growing season is upon in this part of NY (yay).
