Breathtaking, Sergio! Also, I like how the penjing aesthetic carries over to the style of the table. Nicely done.

Great work Sergio. What a journey.Kiyohime today. Roots have now gone all the way down into the pot. Amazing how that happens!

Great work Sergio. What a journey.
If you will have detail pictures of the roots along the rock it could be interesting to see.
such a charming touch, are they just placed, or is it growing in the pot? Love the lichens too.... tree looks great, and it can't be easy to keep this one happy. Display is refreshing to look at.An early summer display with dwarf azalea blooms helping to brighten up things a bit.

Which an amazing display Sergio! Really just stunning. Interestingly the composition has a feeling of instability in leaf that it does not have in winter silhouette.
It was awesome to get to see this in person at the show. Your displays were fantastic!
I was wondering about the logistics involved with traveling with this one. Glad to see it back home safe and sound.Thank you Mateo! The worst thing about exhibiting this tree was the trip down and back! Not a tree that's exactly made for driving it around.
Do you know the name is this type of stone Sergio? I've been trying to search for nice Japanese stones to do some ROR projects but I dont know the name to search for. Thanks

Thank you so much !Yes. It's a Ying stone from China. It was purchased from Adam Jones in Japan. He had a couple at the time and I bought this one. However, Japanese Ibigawa stones are beautiful and some of the best for ROR projects although they can get a bit expensive. Some folks use brightly colored stones that I feel are too distracting and take away from the tree itself.
Once in a great while I have a good idea, lol!The packing solution ended up being simpler than I expected. My student Sal (@Tidal Bonsai) gave me a great idea of taking a piece of styrofoam and making a cut out to insert the pot in. Then I just placed short pieces of the styrofoam supporting the stone from all sides while the it sat inside a cardboard box which worked out better than a wooden one since it was able to flex. Regardless driving with it was a bit stressful
