SHOHIN CASCADE Kiyohime

***looking for a refrigerator now***
Do you recommend a certain brand???

There are several brands out there that are quite good. I have a GE and in my experience it does an excellent job f***ing up a tree. But I have no skin in the game and GE is certainly not paying me for this.

That sounds like a "happy accident" to me...

There was nothing on TV this past Saturday night, so we watched a couple of episodes. I know everyone says he is a a hack, but I would like to be such a hack. Fond memories watching "The Joy of Painting" with my Grandma too.

Looks great! I really like how you can grow other plants and moss in the composition separate from the tree. 👌

Sergio, your trident is very popular on the Mirai Q&A's... I have seen two people already photoshopping their maples into yours. It is really coming along!

This maple bonsai now finishing its second year on the stone. Very happy with its progress.

I must admit that this piece appeals to me a lot.

I hope that the language barrier will allow me to make myself understood because it is a positive comment despite its sound!
You accepted what happened and worked with it, you have respected the Gyo-So style throughout the whole composition.
The rock is impressive, major focal point but I thought back to the Omote and Ura principles.
After my amateur analysis... Your composition has many elements of Zen aesthetics that are a pleasure to see.

Well done again Sergio and if I had one word for this composition it would be... Shibusa

Thanks! I think especially in these rock compositions (different from root over rock) it helps to use other plants to create a more natural setting and soften the presence of the stone.

Thanks for letting me know. LOL I had no idea. Sorry, when you say trident I imagine you are referring to piglet?

Thank you brother! I hope your move went well! It seems like years ago I was at your place.
Seems like the move that never ends - but the trees are finally tucked in at the new place. Next time you teach your Virginia study group, let me know. I'd love for you to stop by for a day!

Welp... I guess my mind was thinking about something else as I typed. Yeah, maple, not the trident variety. LOL

Bored... here is one of them. Forum Q&A at the 30:17 mark.
