So I have been browsing ....

http://kaneshin.shop.multilingualcart.com/index_en_jpy_21.html

Thanks to Max! Trying to figure on how to order enough stuff to make shipping worth while. I don't eBay, and ordering direct is a great experience!

@Adair M that link is directly to sealer, could you please tell me which is the within 30 seconds seal you use?

Also thinking about getting the big and small knuckle cutters. Or maybe one.

And some simple scissors cuz I threw my good stainless medical ones out with some dirt.....I think!

Here is the azalea to be cut. Maybe.
Same one with flowers buds...."all up in dare!"

The one in the yellow box. Number 153 "Top Jin".

Husqvarna 372xp is a great saw.

Used with a carbide on a Yew :p

The two saws I mentioned cut evenly and like butter - the Azalea in #4 is in a 16 1/2 inch pot, took minutes and I did not anyone to hold it.

I'm probably gonna get those 2 first!

You won't be disappointed - The fence guys were struggling to cut the posts "just so" after they were in and I let them use the larger. They were saying "wow - what a difference" and wrote down the type and model number. The cut below took maybe a minute - note the size of the tap root compared to my foot

Make sure you get the one's marked SharpTooth ;)

This is the one I use:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Japanese-sa...hash=item5b04ae0f58:m:mSpGU1iRFBn10pokj6wf6kg

stupid me used it like a regular saw applying pressure both ways, it is meant to cut while pulling. But it is nice and thin so you can reach in between branches and it cuts very clean.
This is the one I have, and I have 3-4 other pruning saws prior, none are even used any more except the larger one for big cuts.

That little Kaneshin saw is exactly what you need for cutting normal sized azalea branches. It cuts smooth, fast and without much jerking or damage to the roots.

You can prolly get it for a similar price or cheaper straight from the Kaneshin website...

straight from the Kaneshin

Yes! And it's mad cool to!

Eric. Speaking of straight,
Here you go @Geo ......

Into the naked potty training my little almost tree one received. ...this song was born,,,,,

Straight from the booty fart.....
Right into the air.....
Smells worse than anything......
Anything I swear!

Lol

Thanks for the info! Always assumed Stanley or Kobalt built something as good or better for a fraction of the cost of the "bonsai saws" I've been getting fleeced on for years.

Always assumed Stanley

Stanley seems to have better quality and "many" times sells a tool that is useful in Bonsai at a lower price. If you think "tools for furniture" when it comes to sawing there is normally something that meets the requirements. I am not saying some may need the smaller more precise but I normally use a "cutter" rather then a saw on the small stuff anyways. As long as I can get a clean cut on the bigger stuff I see no need for most of the Bonsai saws out there but that is just me.
