This may've already been said, but I keep wanting to turn this one 20-40º clockwise. Regardless, you've done well with this tree in a fairly short amount of time. Good work. (Keep looking for the pot.)
Thanks Dave. For a nursery stock tree. I’m pretty happy with the way it’s developed. And when planted on the rocks, gives it so much more of a natural feels.Damn, I love what you did with the stones. Very nice composition!
Great progression on this tree. The rock really pulls it together. I also like the up an out nature of the tree. Plenty of old weathered trees like this in the desert. Way to resist the temptation to compress everything.
Thanks guys. With bonsai just getting bigger and bigger and more and more wild from collected trees, it’s hard to resist parting ways with a relatively young tree started from nursery stock. I think with another 5 years and more Jin and Shari this tree will feel more and more wild.It looks amazing on that stone. The sedum is a nice touch.
