Here is my submission for the maple challenge

Wow very nice! What an amazing nebari/ base. What kind of maple is it?

Acer Palmatum grown from an air layer and kept in large grow cans. I estimate the age to be about 15 years.

Not to burst your bubble, but I believe the challenge was 3" in DIAMETER, which would translate to 9.42" in circumference...
