Potentially Acquiring Sunjoy Saffron for a Forest

Short and hardy trunks and branching with beautiful foliage. They have nice forest potential. The fall colors will be stellar ~



I think I might pull the trigger on this Saffron

That’s a berberis/barberry. The Safron part is just the cultivar name.

Barberries are fun! Those thorns hurt for a long time though I always cut them off, which feels like a no-no … but I found I simply never touched them otherwise because it was so painful and annoying.
