Picea pungens globosa (Colorado spruce)

I acquired this nice looking Colorado spruce from a local nursery. Unfortunately, it’s in one of those burlap bags in a pot surrounded by more soil. Since it’s already June, I plan on removing the burlap and replacing it in the pot, nothing more. Next spring I’ll start root work with HBR. Does this sound like a good plan?

Okay, thanks, CW. Can I ask what the time frame on that was? Do you still have the tree?
