Thanks @Deep Sea Diver . The photos I included in the comment I took on the 22nd June. Not certain if that was when I also took the cuttings... my bad for not recording that information.
I was thinking of removing the cloches (domes) but I've decided to leave covered for some winter protection. The UK weather is all over the place at the moment with temperatures up and down like a fiddler's elbow! When we get some hard frosts forecast I'll cover with some frost fleece protection.
