Yeah, I was looking for a Paul’s Scarlet.
I’m happy with the one I’ve got, especially at the price

if you just want a tree to look at flowers, it will be fine.

I have both Paul's Scarlet and Crimson Cloud bought from forestfarm.com several years ago. Very similar, but Crimson Cloud has more white in the flowers. Both are grafted specimens and I've been taking cuttings which strike roots quite easily. My oldest cuttings are 4-5yrs old and the Paul's flowered last year, but not this year and still no flowers on the Crimson Cloud. I did root prune and repot both this spring so I'm not surprised at no flowers this year, but they're both biting in and making good growth this summer and I expect to see a good show next year.

Started work on it - Pretty happy so far!

Will try and bring the lower branches down, and elongate the canopy a little over time.
