I have found a possibility for this pot. Not the "perfect tree" by any means, but I've been itching to get something into it. The pot is about 4 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide and not quite an inch deep. The tree is about 3 inches tall. Any comments would be appreciated. new dwarf barbados cherry.jpgnew dwarf barbados cherry2.jpg

Nice repair job.
what did you use as a glue?
i assume traditional kintsuge materials are difficult to get in the states.

You can get kintsugi kits here, but they are very expensive. I just used a 5 minute two part epoxy, and mixed gold mica powder into the glue. The hardest part is keeping it still for that 5 minutes!

I had a few pot pickups from the Silhouette Show in Kannapolis, NC this weekend. Two Lenz accent pots (not pictured) and way cooler - two @Soldano666 pots. I'm a Star Wars slut, so I couldn't pass up the chance to have own one of the storm trooper "look alike" pot. I like the understated oxide wash (I think) that should take age well. I plan to plant something in it this spring - maybe a cork bark jade cutting I'm growing out. The other is an awesome craggy crescent shaped pot. Really nice details on this one with good proportions. I'm thinking of using this one as a large accent with a vining or creeping plant. Either way, these are some cool pots!

Great meeting you buddy. See you at Nationals in Sept?

Here’s my most recent new favorite along with one that was just passing through my hands (purple).
