Tis the season of the freeze thaw cycle…

We got 30 inches of snow over the last 3 days. Quite a change from 70s a week ago…

Tough on my deciduous that still have their leaves on, but I suppose it builds character!

This fall is being very warm here. Temps (15ºC- 59F in the coldest moments of the night, to 26ºC -79F ) are a bit higher than usual (12ºC - 22ºC last fall). So today the queen of the garden took a sunbath....

weather here has finally normalized.
Temperatures are in the typical range for this time of year.

My deciduous and azaleas are in the cold frame
Pines and junipers are still on the benches

Just got blasted with snow today. Significantly more than originally anticipated. Deciduous trees were already in garage but conifers stayed out. Seems like theyll need to come in too as we are slated to see teens this week. We had 70s as well last week!
