Yep. Gotta be gentle.I discovered that these species are not easy to bonsai. The branches are so easy to break off at the branch/trunk union.... can break off from the water pressure from the hose when watering them.

I have already decided that it is all clip and grow for the first 30 years. The result will be a big trunk mass. I will be gone by the time it needs to be wired.Tell us your plan for wire dome someday.

I am moving to PA. I missed seeing Sergio during the MABS in May of this year. May be someday soon in the future.Where are you planning to move to?
Best chance might be the next international bonsai show or next year's MABS
