I don't think frost would hurt it but I would definitely try not to get the water on the flowers so they can last longer.

Protect them from frost and keep them dry. The flowers will last a long time if you take care of them.

I just stuck mine in the ground and mulched it in. This guy survived hard freezes and was blanketed with snow on and off last winter…

We're talking about the flowers, but yes the plant itself is cold hardy.
