How about crape myrtle?
As you can see, I brought its branch down quite a bit last year.

Its wound is healing very well.

Few small crabapple.
1st one.
Luckily, it still has one fruit for me to take its picture!
Look at its only flower. Weird!
There is one flower bud!

Some time we can not explain thing in the world! Incidentally, this tree also has only one fruit left and one flower at this time of the year!

Never forget ume in the winter!
This one is grafted one which I posted in other topic. It has lot of flower. I will do air laying it in 3 parts this year!

If you want to get rid of the text on your thumbnails, after you attach them, click on the icon that says thumbnail, and the text will not appear on your post thumbnails.

But I guess that you figured that out while I was making this post, I see now!
Looks like the texts are from posts made on the old Bnut, so I'm wrong on both counts.

Beautiful! But don't stop carving yet. I would reduce the deadwood a little bit more to give the trunk a better taper. It is still too bulky on the top portion.

Yes, I am planning to carving more on the upper third of the trunk.

Those are large unfinished specimens! Still have a lot of works to be done!
The last one is crape myrtle. Others are pomegranate.
