Just an interesting way to classify members here by how much they post. The ratings appear to have no bearing on knowledge or skill. Completely irrelevant posts count the same as a lengthy, well thought out one.
Make your individual posts count rather than chasing the numbers to reach a new level and don't automatically think someone with a higher classification is automatically worthy of more respect. Make your own assessment on the content of the posts rather than the number of posts.
In most cases, this is a decent gauge. In my case? I'm an outlier. I'm an imbecilic clown who likes to make people laugh. I don't know anyone who's better off after taking my advice.I find that it's useful to divide the reaction score by the post count to get an approximate rating for the authority with which a user speaks. A rating of around one tells you the poster is probably just an average guy (and there's nothing wrong with that). A score of two or more shows that, on average, multiple people valued each post. A score of three or more means you had better pay attention. For a score of less than one, beware of bad advice.

1.7... better step up my game, or suck up to more people....I find that it's useful to divide the reaction score by the post count to get an approximate rating for the authority with which a user speaks.
