Make your individual posts count rather than chasing the numbers to reach a new level and don't automatically think someone with a higher classification is automatically worthy of more respect. Make your own assessment on the content of the posts rather than the number of posts.

A rating of around one tells you the poster is probably just an average guy (and there's nothing wrong with that). A score of two or more shows that, on average, multiple people valued each post. A score of three or more means you had better pay attention. For a score of less than one, beware of bad advice.

In most cases, this is a decent gauge. In my case? I'm an outlier. I'm an imbecilic clown who likes to make people laugh. I don't know anyone who's better off after taking my advice.
