Mid Atlantic Bonsai Society Spring Festival, Harrisburg, PA April 19-21 2024

@Zac

I think there is a fee if you just want to see the vendors and exhibit. It's cheaper than the full ticket. It's like $10 or $20 I think
Last time I was a vendor there, the cost to browse the exhibit and vendor's area was $20.

Ok thanks the website just had about $30 ticket that gave access to all the workshops and to register limited space so wasn't sure don't want to take opportunity away from someone else that was planning on attending all I might make it 1 day only

They are very nice.
I am looking forward to this weekend. It will be a very welcome break and distraction for this past week.
Ive had enough of real life and being a responsible adult for one week

I feel this. Wish i could go but between kids activities and wife's incoming bday, i have to keep on being responsible. Closest thing to a bonsai demo that i get to see will be if i throw on karate kid and watch Miyagi catch flies with chopsticks in between working his junipers.

Same for both I will be there with my BNut name tag!

I will be visiting this show for the first time on Saturday, and perhaps Friday afternoon. I'll not be vending, but I will be checking it out.
I'll l be looking for some of you and I have my badge set aside from the Winter Silhouette Show.
Looking forward to seeing you people in person.

Sorry man, would have been nice to meet up with a fellow Long Island Bonsai freak again

You should teach your kids to be responsible by making them attend your activities.

Seriously, though, I'm in the same boat. This is the second time in a row I've missed MABS for a wedding. Next year, I'm going even if I have to miss my own funeral.

My very first MABS was the day of my sisters wedding. I made it work, it was her second marriage so I wasn't worried about showing up late haha

The ceremony is right in the middle of the afternoon, and it's two hours from the venue. I told my wife I was going to go to MABS in the morning and the wedding in the afternoon, but she said no. She doesn't usually put her foot down, so I was surprised, but she explained she was worried I would get stuck in traffic or something and miss her brother's wedding. That actually happened for her cousin's wedding, so I understand her concern.

I arrived in the middle of the vows at her cousin's wedding, and I almost burst in and shouted, "I object!" My wife gave me a dirty look like she was warning me not to do something to embarrass her, so I relented.
