Some pictures are 100% correct. Others are obviously wrong (Kinsai). I also now have to state that I have some doubts about the identity of 'Hoshun' I mentioned earlier. Seems not to be the 'Hoshun' I was referring to.

Now why did you have to post that! I'm not looking, to close to have to worry about over wintering them.

I haven't killed "all of 'em", . . . yet.

One thing or another has been distracting me from paying proper attention to my bonsai this year. I have three left, I know 'Issho no haru' is still with me. I'll have to check on the rest

Were you ever able to find Kanuma Kosuzu?

No. I did see a Hirogomo at Crepsi Bonsai, but I didn't buy it.

Kanuma Kosuzu is still very new. Satsuki nurseries in Japan need to decide to produce it. Which they might have already. And then we need a few more years. Maybe.
There are so many new varieties, some never gain a foothold.
Maybe Hi no Hikari will actually be the most common new dark coloured flower.
