20170616_100825.jpg Quick update on the African Sumac. If it lives I'll give it a thread. Anyway the top branch died as I cut it too close. However it is budding at every bump on the trunk. So now it's right at 1" tall.

I'm letting that lowest whip run to try and thicken the base a bit more. We will see what happens when I start adding branches. But I think it's gonna work out.
