Kinzu (Golden Bean kumquat)

Would love to hear your trial/error approach here, what did/did not seem to help & what your newest(final?) location is like if you don't mind sharing! Great lil tree there, these look like a fun specie I have a large one (un-chopped) that I'll be working in spring and want to be ready ;D

It grows better in the east side of the garden.

Hey Kinzu lovers, I have a question with regard to developing seedlings. I have two "problems". First I had more seeds than peat pots so so I double planted most of the cells. Almost all have grown, so many of the cells have two seedlings. The second issue is, Kinzu seem to throw multiple stems from one seed so I have some that are double or triple trunk.

The question is, should I prune out the multiples and have single trunks/seedlings in each cell or leave them be? What would be more desirable to someone training for bonsai later?

That's where I got mine as well. Just think, all of those fruits have 3 or more viable seeds!

If mine fruits this year I'd be happy to send you some. I planted a few seeds last year and they all sprouted.
