Pot is prepped and opposing anchor wires secured trough mesh (placed mesh under the pot and covering the drainage hole this time) up into pot and over edges
Chopstick or rounded tweezer end of root rake used here
Usually cut 20-30% of roots away from bottom
secured and filled… now to prune and style
tighter angles used for stiff places needing help holding the bends: successful
wire taken to tip and trunk terminus bent forward and rounded back toward trunk line to create density of apical pad and promote the overall triangular shape to the future apex
Positioned right of center for tension and imbalance - topped off with biogold fertilizer teabag tied through wire and anchored to soil surface
