Hello all. My sister have to redo water gutter and other stuff for better water channeling if that's what it's called. And an excuse for herself, she's getting rid of all the plants lining the front as well. She never liked them. But she will be having it done sometime in early summer.

Question is, what is this? And what are the chances of survival if it's collect in a month or so? Of course I think I can convince her to collect it now if collecting later means sure death.

I thought I had camera focused but apparently not. That's a microsopic 8.5 men's shoe!

Chamaecyparis pisifera 'filifera aurea' is probably what it is, they are a common landscape shrub. I’m not sure that they will back bud, most members of the Cupressacea do not, so a chop would kill it.
