Is anyone else getting obscure pop-ups about a virus?

I'm getting pop-ups on many of the topics I try to open.
Written in poor English and with no "out" other than to open new screen and close the original.
Very disturbing and it uses the official Google logo.
But it directs you to Google Play and wants you to install an app.

Me too. I installed an adblocker browser to use on sights that give me that problem. Second time it happens I use the adblocker browser from then on when I visit that sight.

I ran a scan for malware with the zemana app, it said all is good. I hope it's not something else!

Also, the ads at the bottom of the page now make my screen mess up:

You know what the worst part is for me? I thought chrome was infected so I factory reset it (cant uninstall..) and I lost all my bookmarks. Forgot that it would delete them!

I too have received this crap, even though I have a paid antivirus. AVIRA IS THE NAME.

Yea I got it on a red screen two days ago while browsing on my phone. I used CCCleaner & CM Security apps to clean my files and do a virus scan as well as Malwarebytes to scan too. It hasn't popped up since...

I use a Russian browser called "Hackengrad", no issues for me....

I should have mentioned that I too was using an Android Digiland tablet.
It is not an issue right at the moment because I am using my laptop with more walls than you can count blocking viruses and malware.
Looks like it's Androids that are getting hit.
It's a baddie! There is no "X" to delete it. You have to open another window and close the first to continue. It....insinuates.... that you have a virus. In bad English, of course.

But it pops up again if you come back to Bonsai Nut in the new window.

Looks like only this site. And maybe only Android.

Will not use anything but the main computer for Bonsai Nut in the future.

Yes, but only when browsing on my phone. I use an ad blocker browser on my phone which resolves the issue. While on my PC though I don't get any pop ups.

It's just bleed over from Russia hacking everything.
Use what @Smoke posted he uses and you should be O.K.
