Giant Sequoia Overwintered.

My sister got a giant sequoia as a party favor at a wedding. She has it potted because she wants to be able to take it to a more permanent house. I would like to advise her on overwintering. Any suggestions?

Sequoia are pretty hearty mountain trees. You should be able to put it in a cold frame or burry the pot up to the soil line. And be in good shape. A picture might help assess the health of the tree.
