Giant Sequoia Conundrum

A giant sequoia? Do you have a picture if it?
Ah I think I effed up

My giganteums may not be what I submerge! These are the spikey foliage evergreens right?

It's the deciduous one that I keep submerged it looks like BC too

Sorry I really need to learn the difference!

Thank you for catching it!

Sounds like it may be the dawn redwood, closely related but the sequoias much rather be misted along their needles then get very wet on their feet

Hi, tree looks great shame it had to be moved.

I am growing a few Sequoia dendron giganteum myself for future bonsai.

Planted in a very large barrel size pot and it is about two inches in diameter. My branches on most nearly touch the ground. When I started I removed lower branches and found they never grow back. I topped in three different styles and found a straight cut was the worse way. Always leave a leader branch. I will be pleasantly surprised if you are successful and wish you all the luch in the world.
