Main reason why I have yet to get around to building a bonsai bench.

With an additional set of hands, sure. But the past few years have basically been like this - get trees out of the mulch, do the bonsai shuffle, get trees back outside and on cinder blocks and then start moving them around following the sun. At some point, it's time to put them back in mulch. And so, no benches (yet).
