Thing is...I don't like pristine helmets. It could stand a little cleaning up...but it will always have a bit of a tossled look to the foliage. It's more to my liking. Pondering a happy middle ground...plan on looking for photos online of ones in a happy middle ground.

That's why I said "trim"!! Agree on the happy middle ground look. Mine are usually rocking the "bush" look though..happier that way and I hate to spoil the party lol.

Thank you...it's hard to believe it came so thin on foliage. But...I think I always envisioned it with a canopy even when it really was sparse. Looking back today. I really just stared at the image...I don't recall it that way. But...again I always envisioned it with more green. So that must be why.
