EWP Pinus Strobus at fall after shedding needles

Impressive. Not an easy tree to work with but yours is very convincing.

I have the sad news that my lovely EWP And my JWP both perished in-the 105 degree heat of two summers ago her in the Central Valley

I still have my ERC in great shape and of course all my JBP in fine health. My collection of trees spans nearly fifty years all from either seed or collected by myself.
Thanks for asking but up till now I have not wanted to even think about the loss.

That's sad news Vance. I hope you find something of equal beauty.
In my experience, you've mastered EWP, and from what I can tell, you've been the only one thus far. I hope you continue with another tree to show us how it's done, but I'd understand if you'd rather not.

I'll have to hunt the forum for your ERC, like EWP I haven't seen many that I loved, but this bunjin EWP was lovely. Terrible to read that it perished. Love seeing native species being used.
