Emergency tree sale Tacoma, wa

Found a spot with a ton of quality red alders I’m going to collect…..
Hit me up if you need a hand, I love the one I got from you, and I'm very interested in learning more about this local species. I'd also love to learn more about collecting.

Hoping to have much more space for trees come this fall, so I should be able to take some off ya!

A tip for collection, I find areas where people like to do target practice. For whatever reason they like to shoot trees????? But those shot up trees end up looking right for bonsai.
I repotted the two I had left this year and am hoping to get them to a happy place.

Oh man, I’ve never shipped a tree before. Scares me to death. Lol. But I do make trips to California since that’s my homeland. Hahahaha
Next time you decide to come down here to southern CA, hit me up. Maybe we could work something out. If not, that's ok too. ;)

Sure surprised no one wanted this beauty. But I get it, not traditional, just a mushroom in a pot really but when it flowers it definitely makes me smile. I’ll be updating pics of everything I have left and maybe some new ones. Found a spot with a ton of quality red alders I’m going to collect…..View attachment 533531

Late to the party, and I'm deeply sorry for what you're going through. Things will get better after you breathe that sigh of relief and you've let go of all the negative things. Keep your head held high.

Is this still available, and is it possible to get it to NY? I'm also interested in a red alder.

As long as you do it when weather is reasonable it's no more complicated than shipping anything else.
Water well, then wrap the pot/soil/rootball tightly with plastic wrap to hold everything in, and make sure that end is as close to immoveable as possible in the bottom of the box. Packing peanuts or paper to protect the rest.
Label the top VERY CLEARLY. Probably won't help much, but at least you did your best.😒

Oooof, sounds risky, but I’ll look into it and see what I can come up with.

Here’s one of the last two red alders I have. At time of collection it had 5 vertical trunks, but all but one was alive and these are the lower shoots that came out. No idea what I’m going to do with it, but for now it will be my species experiment tree. Practice on this one to save the future ones. Lesson 1: large trunk chop bad, doesn’t come back.lolIMG_1567.jpegIMG_1568.jpeg

And then there is this red alder, I’ve got plans for but maybe someone else will like it. Just repotted this beaut. She’s ready for the final touch. I’d love to adjust the angle just a smidge and then plant the far side in soil, with a river running underneath but alas my life sucks so this is what you get. IMG_1577.jpegIMG_1576.jpeg

Good morning. I'm brand new here and I'm in Lakewood. I'd like to stop by to take a look at your bonsais and buy some if you are available. Please let me know.
Thank you!
