Emergency tree sale Tacoma, wa

@Dysfunctional Vet

Very sorry to hear about this. My parents got a divorce when I was young because my father couldn't keep his pants on away from home so I fully sympathize with the feelings and betrayal you are going through.

I want to second the advice to get legal council. You can often get a consultation for free.

You have been together for 23 years, do you own the house you are living in?
If so, a divorce could result in the sale of that property (or her having to pay you something if she wants to keep it) to which you should be entitled to a portion of the money.

That would help you get yourself situated somewhere else.

No idea, I’m not the biggest fan of the VA
I'm also a disabled veteran and my VA experience has been exceptional. They have taken really good care of me. My doctors have been the best I've ever had... and I also have Kaiser insurance to compare. The VA docs are so much better in every way, at least here where I live. Hopefully wherever you end up gives you a much better experience.

Don’t know what to ask for any of my trees so make an offer

Im only a couple years into bonsai so im unaware of proper pricing for a specimen like that. The last thing I’d want to do is insult you with a lowball offer haha so if anyone more experienced can chime in on a suitable price it’d be much appreciated

Mental health just wants me taking fists fulls of pills a day or don’t come back and after dealing with 10 years of that I’m good. Glad you’re getting good care.

I feel you, I’ve never sold a tree and I’ve never really bought trees. So I’m clueless as well. Your offer won’t insult me. Hahaha
I’ll just say no.

It's actually not a bad looking tree.
I'd make you an offer...
If I wasn't broke...
Up to my ears in stuff to do...
Or half a continent away.

When I visited today, I had blinders on for small trees, as my roof is nearing capacity, but I should’ve taken more time to admire it. I didn’t even notice the “pot”!

I really like your style, particularly your penchant for trying daring stuff with locally available material. That 2” willow “cutting” was something else! I look forward to seeing you build out your collection again once you get established in a new place.

Thank you for the opportunity you gave me and some others.

I saw the trash can lid and contemplated it. I definitely would of had to use my hand saw if I wanted to squeeze it into my car xD

As panda mentioned, I also enjoyed your style and hearing about your visions for the trees. I look forward to your future adventures.

Yeah, that would be a big box. Letting the top run this year helped the lower taper. Maybe, in a year or two, kill off the top, like a lighting strike. Lol
I don’t think it’s all that bad either.

5 needle pines, thinking white, collected from my buddies driveway when we were clearing the sides. Flat pine cone sized root ball at collection. Roots are now coming out the bottom of the pot. One of them got choked out this year.

Big corkscrew willow “cuttings”. You’d have to develop and carve, but they have mature bark already.

I love them too. So cool with the white bark.
Just wish they didnt have a penchant to kill off branches for no apparent reason
The only time I seem to loose a branch is when I trim it to hard or bend it too far. Trimming in the early spring always equals extreme dieback for me as well.
