Thank you! It took a lot of work, lots of therapy, changed my entire lifestyle(diet, working out, prioritizing myself) and learned the why of every choice I’ve ever made. The world I’ll never understand, but I now have a complete understanding of myself and that is a gift.

Just ran across this thread today. That's an awesome story you have there, and honestly, reading it was kind of like watching a tree progression. The story went from raw material to development then an awesome mature bonsai with ongoing refinement. Thank you for sharing, sir!

Not yet, transmission and engine rebuild are on the agenda and then who knows. But for now, it’s put in work, make that $$$$ and keep an open mind.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words. I am hoping that my story might help someone else out down the road. Life is life and it’s really hard sometimes and all someone needs is to know there can be a path out of the darkness. If this salty vet can do it, anyone can! Granted, my bonsai year was kind of a flop, but a majority of them made it and so did I. Calling that a win!!!!!
