I didn't hear anything particularly controversial. Good information.

Does the higher inter-hemispheric connectability of a woman's brain correlate, or relate to a higher Emotional Intelligence?

I watched the 13 languages video on your youtube channel. Impressive! How many languages are you fluent in?

Hehehe for some people everything is controversial.... you should see some professors I work with.
The whole interhemispheric connection and EQ correlation is being studied at the moment. Some of the previous research on the matter does seem to suggest that it increases EQ.

Hehehe not sure how many I can speak fluently...... I can butcher them pretty well though. Heheheh

Thanks for actually watching!

No, no. In fact, after watching your lecture about genders some of the past epic B-Nut debates came to my mind and I thought there would start one more because of your video.....
Hahaha ok let's debate then.... Sharknado or Koinado which will cause more damage? I'm going with Koi.....they are faster to breed and are able to hunt people down in tight spaces....

I have not much under my belt in order to debate, but after making some superficial reading I'm also with you
... ...I'm going with Koi.....they are faster to breed and are able to hunt people down in tight spaces....
and they can live more than 200 years. :p

But they dont have much in the way of teeth.
What do they do?
Suck you to death?

I’ve heard they sit at the bottom of the freshwater spillway dam and grow to the size of whales

I’ve heard this since I was young. The carp grow to the size of environment, like one size of a bus, and never stop swimming in place. Just in waiting until something big falls in or is carried downstream by the current.
It ain’t a cornflake ball or biscuit dough they’re or it’s after. It’s a deer or such.

I've taken about every scuba diving coarse there is. We had a dam inspector telling us stories about what he called "bump in the night" He said that's what they called it when you were at the bottom with zero visibility and a fish would bump you and move you several feet, not inches. He also told about standing doing inspections and the bottom would swim out from you. The last thing was seeing the huge fish being removed using a crane. After I heard him speak I never dove the Dams again.

But they dont have much in the way of teeth.
What do they do?
Suck you to death?
It is an interesting question.... Being a self proclaimed expert in the field I am going to give you my personal opinions presented as scientific fact.

We have two options here.
1. Due to their great size they suck you to death..... going for the brain.
2. The Japanese scientists combine Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas) and Siamese Giant Carp (Catlocarpio siamensis) DNA creating Killer Missile Carp (Catlocarpio Leucas) which become a Koi of Mass Destruction.

It's all very scientific and believable so lets go with option 2.

OMG!!! Just surfing around BNut, I run across this thread again with this absolute gem of a video! I'm a retired, Board Certified M.D. Shrink with about 35 years in the trenches, just preparing to leave the Philippines after my wife of 20 years drags me over here seven months ago to her homeland so she can have an early retirement on my legitimate-retirement dime, only to have her treat me with such constant hatred, contempt and meltdowns - accompanied by physically threatening tirades out of the blue - that I decide to go back to the States - but with only four suitcases of belongings for the plane ride (out of the contents of a 40' shipping container of accumulated belongings, and #40 1-cubic-meter shipping boxes of "last-minute" belongings she decided we just had to ship because "We just can't live without them... ", ... and of course the financial accounts transferred, and the property we bought together over here - which are, by Philippine Law, in her name alone since I cannot own property over here as foreigner .... this sentence seems to have lost it's thread and relevance amidst all the details ... where was I, ? ...

Yes:

1. Professionally, this guy in the video is soberly and strictly right-on about the science. The whole emphasis these days on gender-confusion nonsense is a mere product of 1. The much broader cultural decline predicted by Kohut and his followers 50+ years ago: that each generation of increasingly narcissistic parents would produce a subsequent generation of more narcissistic offspring; and 2. The politically-motivated take-over of the educational systems and media/social-media milieu in the country/world by a Socialist/Marxist core that seeks to entirely undermine more rational, conservative thought in the youth for their own - ultimately totalitarian political agenda/goals ... and profits.

2. Personally, I am reminded daily of Jack Nicholson's character in the movie, "As Good as it Gets", where he plays a famous writer. One woman asks him how it is that he has such an uncanny ability to write from a woman's point of view in his stories. His answer: "I think of a man ... and I take away reason ... and accountability." Yes. 'Nuff said.

"Does ANYONE really like or appreciate the bitchiness on this site?" ... Not sure. Really couldn't care less. It's a great site!

Sorry if you don't like my post ... well, no ... actually ... not really sorry at all. Not a bit! It's the truth, and I couldn't care less what anyone thinks, being far beyond caring in such experience-based matters. Live my life for 66 years ... and then get back to me ...

I’m am sorry about your situation.

However...

If I may make a few observations...

Disclaimer: I am not trained in any kind of psychology. So, I could be completely off base here!

We are all subliminally influenced by the culture and environment we grew up in. In later life, we might move to another place and adapt to a different culture and way of life, but it’s not natural. We have to “act” differently to fit in. A person that chooses to stay in that new environment can find they adapt pretty well, but when they return to their native environment, the old values, point of view, and mannerisms can return in a flash. And they’re not even aware of it.

If I might cite a couple anecdotal examples:

My nephew when to college at William and Mary in Virginia. There he dated a beautiful girl from Argentina. She was exotic, attractive, wealthy and connected. Her father had attended W&L and was on the Board of Regents. My nephew is smart, handsome, studied Business in school. They got engaged, and married. The girl’s father was a very influential businessman in Argentina. Owned many businesses. He arranged for my nephew to work, not for him, but for a company run by one of his friends. The daughter worked for her Dad. My nephew was successful working there. The company was an import/export outfit, and he was bilingual, so he did well. Ah, but the social life... that was a different matter. You see, the daughter ran in the highest of society circles. And while no one disliked my nephew, he was always “the gringo”. There were the constant whispers of “why did she marry HIM?” And when I say “high society”, the daughter was something of a Kardashian for Argentina. One of their businesses was owning a movie production company, and yes, she and my nephew attended the Academy Awards! THAT kind of A-list. Well, after about 3 years, it fell apart. The culture clash was just too much. They divorced. The guy who is currently Pope annulled the marriage. (Did I say they were A-list? Lol.). He wasn’t Pope then.

Anyway, while the daughter was in the US, she was perfectly happy with being “ordinary”. But back in Argentina, she went back to being “Kardashian”, and my nephew couldn’t play that role.

In my own personal situation, I grew up in the City, my wife from a very small town. We met when we were both working in the city. We were office workers. Several years into our marriage, she didn’t want to move back home, but she wanted to move out of the city because she felt the air pollution was affecting her health. So, after we moved to the small town, she started telling me that I “didn’t act right” here. She said I shouldn’t wear my watch, because it looked like I was trying to show off. (I had purchased a Rolex in 1978. And had worn it every day since that time. This was in 2003. By that time, that watch “was a part of me!”) That was just one example, but there were many more. She really got upset when I bought the Tesla. I thought the car would be great for her because it didn’t pollute, we wouldn’t have to stop at the gas station where she would get exposed to all the gas and diesel fumes, etc. All she saw was it was a “flashy car”. Anyway, on retrospect, it appears she has return to her “small town persona”, rather than the “big city girl” she was when we met. We’re working on it...
