This one needs a haircut!View attachment 113574 Picture from last year. Needs some attention it's grown out of control this year, so has the kiddo!
Why don't you grab a few of those large ones, take them in the studio and snap some pics for us? You got a fork lift, right?just 1???? I have at least 2 dozen forest, group, grove, and/or mixed plantings in my collection...from 4" to 4' and up to 70+ trees...
...glad you liked it! I have 4 boxwood group plantings alone
Yea it's like trying to cut the great Danes nails gotta chase em down and offer him candy haha. The forrest actually got a cut last night , painful stuff when they get overgrown. I'm trying to get a guy who works for me to come get some good pictures of alot of my good trees here soon. I don't have a good camera. ThanksThis one needs a haircut!
Might want to prune that tree a bit too...
Cute kid, great trees!
I have a large Trident forest, but it needs some work. I need to repot it and add some trees of more varied height and width for interest. Plan on doing that next year most likely... It is still pretty cool but doesn't photograph well where it sits and I just don't wand to move that bevy SOB unless I have to!
Sorbus aucuparia? Man, you must be an illusionist.Aka Mountain Ash.
They never have - probably because I'm pruning them all the bloody time...
I'll take that as a compliment... ;-)Sorbus aucuparia? Man, you must be an illusionist.
Here's one by a guy named Dean Bull, on display at MABA in Chicago, 1998. It always stuck with me. It was a forest fire scene regenerating with some little seedlings started among the charred remains.
